The daughter of former Iranian President Ali Akbar, Hashemi Rafsanjani Faeza, was arrested by the authorities of the Islamic Republic


Iranian news agency IRNA reported that Faeza Hashemi was arrested for her involvement in recent protests and anti-state propaganda.
The politician’s daughter, who gained fame as a civil activist, will spend 6 months in prison.
Earlier it became known that the daughter of the former president of Iran was detained in February 2012 during the dispersal of an unauthorized demonstration. In 2009, Faeza also took part in protests against violations in the presidential elections.
