Russian Citizen Outrage Spreads – Partisans

What do retired spouses from Podolsk, students from Buryatia, and a pawnbroker from Nizhny Novgorod have in common? All of them, according to the news, committed (or planned) sabotage and were detained. We analyzed the messages and identified several common (and dubious) stories.

1. Retirees or teenagers go on fire because of phone fraud or blackmail
   (at least 10 cases)

• A citizen of Ukraine committed a rail sabotage in Moscow due to blackmail with the life of his daughter
• An elderly woman from Moscow burned the car of the deputy head of the General Staff at the direction of telephone scammers
• A man registered with the PND tried to set fire to the military registration and enlistment office in Mordovia , he was blackmailed with a loan
• Money was stolen from a pensioner from Angarsk and promised to be returned after the draft board was set on fire
• The young pawnbroker was blackmailed by a call to the police and forced to burn down the draft board

1. Young people act on the instructions of anonymous people from social networks
   (the anonymity of the adolescents themselves is questionable) – at least 6 cases

• Young men from Chuvashia set fire to a relay cabinet
• Young people from Penza set fire on the instructions of an unknown person in Telegram
• A freshman from Moscow committed sabotage on the railways ordered from the Internet

3.1. Detention before sabotage

• A traveler from Kaliningrad planned sabotage at the facilities of the Baltic Fleet and at the airport

We do not have 100% evidence that all cases are a provocation or a fantasy of the Russian special services, but they are united by strange details :

• an exact indication to the performer of what, where and when to do,
• detention on the spot or immediately after the action,
• episodes without confirmation from other sources of information.

The goals of the FSB are clear:

1. Intimidation of partisans – including through “detentions” at the stage of sabotage planning (such cases are accompanied by evidence in the form of Azov symbols / Nazi literature / other paraphernalia of a cinematic partisan and look the most absurd).
2. Discrediting the Resistance in the eyes of society. Like, the actions are arranged only by greedy criminals and grandmothers who have fallen for the divorce of scammers.
3. Personal gain: show vigorous activity and usefulness in order to rehabilitate for the failure of the preparation for the invasion of Ukraine, receive bonuses and new stars for shoulder straps

the FSB is the same part of the state as the army (once known as the “second army of the world”). They are not omnipotent, but very, very mediocre. Even in creating the “correct picture” – the news on the FSB website makes you laugh more than it scares you – for example, in this fantastic story , the prisoners in the zone were members of a terrorist community and, at the direction of the Ukrainian special services, were preparing a terrorist attack in the city.

But underestimating the “enemy” is a dangerous mistake. Do not neglect reconnaissance and planning, always keep in mind the possibility of information leakage and do not tell anyone the key features of the action, which can determine the place and time. Be responsible for information security and disguise. Plan and go for it!
