New generation of “vertical”  smart bombs

#Iran announces the launch of “Yasin Advanced-Advanced Intelligent Bombs, Balabans, and New Generation Vertical Dot Submersible Smart Bombs”.

According to #ISNA, these “Iran-made” bombs were unveiled at the Ministry of Defense in the presence of Defense Minister Amir Hatami.

Describing the characteristics of the #Balaban bomb, Hatami said, the bomb “has folding wings to increase range and also a guidance system to increase accuracy, which, once released, opens its folding wings and moves to the target with the help of guidance.”

“The guided bomb is capable of being dropped more than 2 kilometers away, aimed at the target,” the Iranian defense minister said in a statement detailing the #Yasin #bomb.
