An unverified document circulating through Russian-language channels has surfaced with a stunning claim – a direct call for President Vladimir Putin’s resignation.
In a recent interview with prominent war blogger Maxim Kalashnikov, the commander was asked what he would do to win the war in Ukraine. His response was blunt: "I would stop the war altogether. Unfortunately, this war won’t end until we completely, stupidly kill each other. They are like us. They won’t give up, and we won’t give up. This will continue until we kill or maim each other — and then a third enemy will come and kill both of us."
“When you asked me a question about what I would do, I would just say:
‘That’s it! Stop!’ “, he added.
We stress the credibility is unknown. Purportedly written by Russian Generals, the text outlines mounting frustration over the war in Ukraine, growing economic isolation, and the erosion of state legitimacy.
The language is blunt, accusatory, and rare in its tone—especially for a nation where dissent carries severe consequences. The document appeared on a couple of semi-encrypted channels. Initial fragments emerged on May 30, 2025.
The images frame Putin’s leadership as irreversibly damaging. Whether authentic or manufactured, the content speaks to the extreme pressures gripping Russia’s internal discourse.
As always, verification remains the standard, and speculation must yield to scrutiny. For now, this document stands as a striking—if unconfirmed—artifact of Russia’s information storm.
