Ukrainian intelligence thwarted Russian pranksters’ provocation against Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar

According to the department, the Russian special services used deepfake technology, which is based on artificial intelligence and allows you to create a fake video where a famous person says things that are unusual for him.

The Russians tried to contact the CEO on behalf of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal by launching his video image. However, during the conversation, they talked with an equally fake CEO of the company and exposed themselves, showing a low level of preparation.

One of the factors for the disclosure of Russians was the phrase “Indian summer”, which the Russians pronounce in Russian. When they were informed that they had been discovered, they thought of asking a stupid question several times: “Where?”
