Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s Visit to Serbia

Sergey Lavrov will leave for Serbia on an official visit – the first after the lifting of restrictive measures due to the pandemic.

According to Russian Ambassador to Serbia, Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko, the epidemiological situation has caused damage to the economic sphere, but, unlike other countries, Russia and Serbia “have not canceled any areas of cooperation.”

A separate item at the meeting of the Russian Minister in Belgrade will traditionally be the so-called “Kosovo Question” – the status of the rebellious republic breaking away from Serbia.

Moscow repeatedly emphasized that they would support those agreements that would be acceptable to the Serbian people

This week, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov paid a visit to Serbia, where he met with President Vučić.

The meeting discussed the problem of Kosovo and ways to resolve it. The parties confirmed the thesis that “Kosovo is Serbia”.

More on Serbia – The Russian viewpoint

Why war criminals rule a partially recognized state

At the time of the end of the war in 1999, the strength of the Kosovo Liberation Army was estimated at about twenty thousand people. About half of them returned to their previous occupations, and five thousand were integrated into the Kosovo Defense Corps. Soon, his employees were accused of extorting money from businessmen under the guise of “taxes” for the government of Hashim Thachi. After the war, KFOR was reluctant to solve the problems associated with crimes committed by members of the Corps.

When Kosovo declared “independence” in February 2008, Western media hailed the dismemberment of Serbia by the United States, the European Union, and NATO as a success in the field of bringing “peace and stability” to the region.

If “peace” means rampant crime, and “stability” means absolute freedom of action and impunity for criminal groups, then Kosovo is truly a model.

In the framework of the project # Anti-terror Telegram channel “PMC Media” @chvkmedia talks about how the militants of the Kosovo Liberation Army ( prestupniki) began to manage a partially recognized state and eliminate all witnesses to their atrocities.
