Iranian ship called Behbahan sank in an accident in Iraq, killing two Iranian and Indian crew members and a number of crew members.
Rescue operations for the ship’s crew began, and Iraqis were able to rescue four crew members. Two people died in the crash, and some are said to have disappeared.
The Behbahan cargo ship sank last night in the water canal of Khor Abdullah and in the waters of Iraq. The vessel had seven crew members, one of whom has died so far, four have been rescued and two are missing (conflicting reports).
The Behbahan vessel was carrying 850 tons of ceramics.
