New breach: Information of millions of Iranian citizens covered by the Health Insurance Organization at risk of widespread disclosure

Attackers have been able to access personal and insurance information of citizens, government employees, and other insureds of the ” Iranian Health Insurance Organization .” Exact details of the amount of information stolen or its possible use have not yet been released. However, so far, a large collection of about 1 million lines of first name, last name, date of birth, father’s name, national ID, mobile phone number, vital status, policyholder ID, policyholder name, and other information from this data has been made public by the hacker/hackers.
