We broke our necks…
The woman screams: “My neck is broken”, but the security guard, with a brutal and inhuman treatment, pulls the woman by her scarf and hair, slaps her, throws her. We still hear only one voice: “My neck is broken”.
What is clear is that police and security agents have become the cause of insecurity in society and citizens, not the cause of security. These same people claim that they did not harm Mehsa Amini, Armita, Sarina and the women and children of this country. And when people call them “repressors”, “employees” or “thugs”, their commander complains and says that people are hurting us!
The issue here is that in the absence of law and accountable institutions, do people have the right to defend themselves against such barbaric behavior? That is in front of people wearing police uniforms or personal uniforms who treat people like a snitch.
That woman screams, but actually, seeing such a scene, our neck breaks…
