Many people with Russian and European passports are fighting for us. Many citizens of the aggressor country help Ukraine as best they can. However, they cannot legally give up their Russian citizenship in order to obtain a Ukrainian one (subject to all checks from the SBU and compliance with migration requirements).
They cannot go to Russia because they will immediately be accused of treason, and the terrorist FSB will torture them. There are many cases when Russians fled from the Russian Federation to Ukraine from the regime. Many have learned Ukrainian and speak only Ukrainian.
But they do not have the opportunity to replace the temporary certificate of a citizen of Ukraine with a Ukrainian passport.
Sign the petition so that these people, who are 99% already citizens of Ukraine, were able to renounce Russian/Russian citizenship through a declaration of withdrawal from foreign citizenship.

The petition applies only to those Russians who have received a temporary card of a CITIZEN of Ukraine. That is, they have grounds for acquiring citizenship and have been checked by a number of special services.
On the introduction by the President of Ukraine of a bill to allow declarative withdrawal from the citizenship of the Russian Federation upon acquisition of Ukrainian citizenship. Currently, the norms of national legislation are still in force, according to which citizens of Ukraine, who previously held Russian citizenship, must fulfill their obligations to the aggressor country to obtain permission to withdraw from its citizenship. In case of non-fulfillment of such an obligation, in accordance with Article 21 of the Law on Citizenship of Ukraine, the decision to acquire Ukrainian citizenship is revoked. Thus, de facto, the aggressor country still has influence on the citizens of Ukraine and the procedure for acquiring Ukrainian citizenship
