Forewarned is forearmed – the main directions of the information and psychological operations of Russia at the moment are three directions:
- An attempt to pass off as the actual number of losses of the Ukrainian army. All Russian garbage dumps both inside the Russian Federation and their recruited/bought journalists, newspapers and media personalities in the West have become extremely active. Every day you can meet headlines like “10000000000000 Ukrainian soldiers died and another 5 trillion captured, 10 million tanks and 3 billion howitzers were destroyed along the way.”
- Russians are extremely actively following the internal political changes in our country. They monitor appointments and study the connections between politicians and security officials. The danger of this situation lies in the stuffing into the information field of information that discredits the military-political leadership of the country and/or sows discord among Ukrainians.
- The timing and directions of the Russian offensive. Everyone is talking about it everywhere. From grandmothers in the markets to businessmen in smoking rooms between important issues. Everyone is interested – when / who / where / where / why / why. On this basis, the Russians throw information almost every day through their media about completely different directions of the offensive, different times, and different ultimate goals of this offensive.
The purpose of these three vectors of work is very simple, as always – to demoralize the civilian population, sow panic, confuse consciousness before a new stage of the war and make it impossible to understand the real directions for attack / strike.
