Yesterday’s explosion took place near the Shahinshahr, which according to official Iranian media originated from the Nargostar chemical-industrial complex, at the Iran Aircraft Company (HESA) complex:
“Iran Aircraft Industrial Company (HESA), which produces various types of aircraft and UAVs for Iranian and pro-Iranian forces, is located in the complex belonging to Nargostar Sepahan Chemical Industries.”
Meanwhile, these two industrial complexes are more than 16 kilometers apart.
Iranian media reported an explosion at the “Sepahan Nargostar Chemical Industries” in Isfahan and nine people were injured in the incident.
According to Abbas Abedi, spokesman for the Isfahan Emergency Center, “This incident was reported to the Isfahan Emergency Center at 3:26 am today (Sunday, June 23).”
It is worth mentioning that before that, social media users had reported the terrible sound of an explosion around Shahinshahr, Isfahan.
According to the IRNA news agency, the factory operates under the auspices of the Security Council of Iran and is the “only reference” for the production and distribution of safe lighting materials.
A spokesman for the Isfahan Emergency Center said that the accident took place in Shahinshahr, 7 km from Alavijeh Road in Nargostar Sepahan Chemical Industries. . »
“Nine people were injured in the incident and taken to Goldis Shahinshahr Hospital for treatment,” Abedi concluded.
The report did not specify the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage.
It is worth mentioning that in the past year, different cities of Iran have witnessed several explosions in military places, infrastructure facilities and production factories. Explosions at Parchin Military Complex, Sina Athar Health Center in Tehran, Natanz Nuclear Enrichment Facility, Shahid Madhaj Zargan Power Plant, Oxygen Plant in Baqershahr, south of Tehran, Tondgovian Petrochemical Plant in southwestern Iran, and Industrial Complex near northeast of Mashhad. It happened that security officials never gave clear reasons for the explosions.
