In Turkey, the public presentation of the first nationally developed TS1400 turboshaft helicopter engine, created by the Turkish state engine company TEI (Tusaş Engine Industries), ended with an embarrassment on December 5. 
After the welcoming statement by Turkish President Erdogan via TV broadcast from his Vahdettin residence, the prototype engine at the company’s stand did not start (Video of the broadcast fragment).
