A presentation of the universal marine robotic complex “Orkan”, developed by the Russian company ZAO Si Project, was held at the Baltic branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Morresluzhba”. The complex is designed to perform hydrographic work and is equipped with domestic hydroacoustic systems.
Representatives of ZAO Si Project spoke about the advantages of the UMRK “Orkan”, its characteristics, as well as the process of connecting and setting up the navigation and hydrographic complex. During the demonstration, a part of the water area of the seaport “Big Port of St. Petersburg” was surveyed.
🔻According to experts, the universal marine robotic complex “Orkan” represents a significant step in the development of domestic marine technology and will significantly improve the quality and efficiency of hydrographic work. Experts also believe that such complexes will be widely used not only in Russia, but also abroad, due to their reliability, accuracy and ease of use.
