This morning, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported the downing of one Ukrainian aircraft-type drone (the head of the region about three), which the Russians claim was shot down by a UAV over the territory of North Ossetia. Local telegram channels wrote that we are talking about Mozdok, and that is where the military airfield is located, where at the end of April, satellite images showed Tu-22M bombers, Su-24M/MR attack aircraft and military helicopters.
“The footage of the flight of an enemy drone over Mozdok shows an aircraft-type UAV moving towards the airfield. The head of Alania Serhiy Menyailo said that he was the target of the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
At the end of the video, the sound of an explosion can be heard – whether it was a hit or an “arrival” is currently unknown.
The Mozdok airfield is extremely important — it is where our long-range aviation, including strategic aircraft, takes off. All the drones of the Armed Forces were destroyed.” – Russian sources
