The video refers to an alleged secret trip of Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov to Niger and “secret negotiations” on the supply of uranium to Ukraine.
Net Afrique and SENE NEWS published articles based on this video. These materials were actively used by russian propaganda to spread fake news that discredits Ukraine in the international arena.
The information about Rustem Umerov’s visit to Niger is false, as at the specified time the Minister was meeting with his Lithuanian colleague Arvydas Anusauskas in Kyiv.
