Who was persecuted for words in October: non-public Russians
In St. Petersburg, a man was reported because of a photo in a historical museum where he stands in armor. The informer was attracted by the shield, painted yellow and blue. The museum explained that the colors symbolize the Swedish roots of the city. The police began an investigation.
A MIREA student was taken away from class by FSB officers. The girl said that they wanted to open a case against her to “discredit” the army for “anti-special operations” posts. It is reported that she was taken to Lubyanka.
A teacher from the Sverdlovsk region lost his job due to denunciation by colleagues. He was accused of “discrediting the army.” The reason was the poems of Evgenia Berkovich, Alexander Galich and Evgenia Delfinova, which he published on VKontakte.
As before, the theme of “special operation” and Ukraine again prevails here, and the articles under which our citizens are accused are becoming more and more serious.
The third part of the October digest about the persecution of our fellow citizens for online activity is dedicated to non-public people about whom the media rarely writes. In the first two parts we talked about politicians, activists, musicians, artists and bloggers.
