Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, one of the main Russian narratives has become:
“The more the West supplies weapons to the Kyiv regime, the longer the war will last.”
To promote it, the Russians:
• regular “red lines” are drawn, starting with Bayraktar and Javelin deliveries and continuing with HIMARS, Patriot, Leopard, etc. Now these lines have extended to the F-16, ATACMS, Taurus;
• arrange regular “diplomatic” tantrums like the same thing at the UN, Putin inside the Russian Federation or Lavrov at the remains of international platforms;
• spread lies about the inability of Western weapons to counter the Russian “analogovnet”;
• broadcast “victory” reports about destroyed Leopard tanks. Before that, Putin had already defiantly destroyed “five Patriot systems at once” in Ukraine, even earlier there was an epoch-making battle with HIMARS;
• conduct disinformation campaigns regarding the alleged sale of western weapons by Ukrainians;
• drive a wedge between the USA and the EU. He said that the Europeans spend their weapons on Ukraine, but in return, they have to pay the Americans for theirs from their taxes.
