On August 17, 2022, five cyber-volunteers decided to found an organization that will help accelerate the victory of Ukraine. The official level was needed to increase operational cooperation with state bodies, military units and special services of the country.
During this time, the Cyber Research Bureau in the field of information security under the Cyber Intelligence Committee of Ukraine of the NGO “CyberPolk” (Pentest) conducted 13 offensive operations, 4,327 DDoS attacks on Russian resources. The Bureau of Information Intelligence under the KKU (OSINT) carried out 10 intelligence operations. The number of operations does not include large-scale operations.
The software development department developed and continues to develop special technical solutions for the organization’s operations, helps government agencies with the development of appropriate software. The web development department helps with web issues. All developed solutions are tested by QA, who find problems that are solved over time.
The Department of Military Information Operations is engaged in the creation of a high-quality IPSO to oppose the Russians in information and psychological operations.
During the entire period of activity of the organization, the leadership of the CyberPolk NGO signed memorandums with state bodies, military units, successful companies, public organizations, and universities.
The Academy of Cyber Technologies of Ukraine conducted a course on cyber security, opened a YouTube channel where lectures are periodically published, new courses and educational materials are developed for Ukrainians.
“CyberPolk” is not just the name of a public sector entity, it is a direct enemy of Russia, a cybervolunteer force with specialists who are ready to suppress Russian revanchism once and for all.
