UN confirms death of 9,000 civilians in Ukraine
Due to Russian aggression, 9177 civilians were killed, among them 535 children. This was stated by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. From their report it follows that for the period May-June 2023, the average number of civilian casualties rose to 836 people.
At the same time, the actual number of victims is much higher: the organization often does not have access to information from the occupied and annexed territories of Ukraine.
