On improving Russian-Iranian capabilities to counter threats in cyberspace
Russian companies “Innostage” and GAU “Technopark in the field of high technologies “IT Park” during the International Economic Forum of Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation “Russia – Islamic World: Kazanforum 2023” (18-19.05) signed a quadripartite memorandum on cooperation in the field of industrial cybersecurity with the Technopark of the Shiraz University and the Iranian company for security in cyberspace and the production of IT products “Amn Pajooh Noavaran Fars” .
The signed agreement is aimed at bilateral export of technologies and solutions between Russian and Iranian IT companies.
The management of the companies notes that the signed document provides for cooperation in demonstrating developments in the field of functioning of cyber-polygons and training, as well as the exchange of best practices in the development and implementation of industrial cybersecurity solutions.
The political leadership of Iran continues to pay attention to ensuring national information security. The measures implemented by the Iranian authorities will allow the state to increase resistance to cyber threats, reduce the time indicators for the control cycle of subordinate forces, and will also play an important role in strengthening the country’s national security in cyberspace and countering cyber attacks in the industrial field.
Technopark in the field of high technologies “IT Park” in Kazan signed several agreements on joint work with representatives of Iran on the sidelines of KazanForum. Cooperation will be aimed at bilateral export of competencies, technologies and solutions between Russian and Iranian IT companies, the Ministry of Digital Development of the Republic of Tatarstan reports.
At KazanForum, the IT park presented a separate start-up zone, and also organized a round table on the introduction of innovative start-up solutions in the OIC countries with the participation of foreign guests. The prospects for the development of cooperation between the countries of the Middle East and Russia in the field of the development of science and technology, the introduction of innovative start-up projects within the industrial production of the OIC were discussed.
At the round table, the School of Digital Champions 2023 program was presented – this is an intensive course for technological projects in the field of end-to-end digital technologies, aimed at preparing startups for interaction with organizations in the real sector or a venture investor.
In turn, representatives of the Astana International Financial Center and Astana Hub spoke about their tools for startups.
The discussion ended with the signing of agreements between GAU IT-Park and the guests of the round table. Thus, the most important was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the IT Park and Fars Province, the Shahid Beheshti University, and the conclusion of a “Memorandum of Intention” with the Technopark of the Shiraz University and the Innostage Group of Companies.
Within the framework of cooperation, the parties plan to ensure a more active development of IT technologies in the participating countries on the terms of mutually beneficial cooperation.
