Russia is a Terrorist State – (Iran is a Terrorist State)
The Russian Federation itself has been recognized as a state sponsor of terrorism, according to a government statement published on the parliament’s website.
Supporting the call of the Parliament of Ukraine to states and international organizations, the Riigikogu (Parliament of Estonia) declares the Russian regime a terrorist state, and the Russian Federation a state sponsor of terrorism, whose actions must be repelled. The Riigikogu calls on the international community to adopt similar declarations.

The country’s parliament fully supports the investigations launched by the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court to clarify the circumstances of crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine.
The Riigikogu supports the investigations initiated by the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court to clarify the circumstances of the crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine, and considers it necessary to hold a trial against those responsible for the crime of aggression within the framework of a special international tribunal.
“Supporting the appeal of the Parliament of Ukraine to states and international organizations, the Riigikogu declares the Russian regime a terrorist one, and the Russian Federation a state sponsor of terrorism, whose actions must be jointly rebuffed. The Riigikogu calls on the international community to adopt similar declarations,” the statement reads.
In addition, according to the statement, the Riigikogu condemns the use of armed groups, such as the Wagner Group, created with the support of the authorities of the Russian Federation, as part of the aggression. The Parliament considers it necessary to recognize the armed forces of the so-called Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics created by the Russian Federation and the private military company Wagner as terrorist organizations.
According to the statement, the Riigikogu also condemns the announcement and conduct of mobilization by the Russian regime that violates international law, noting that mobilization carried out with the aim of continuing the crime of aggression is a crime against peace.
