“On August 9, 2022, it is planned to launch the Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket with the Fregat upper stage from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, which will launch the Khayyam Earth remote sensing spacecraft into orbit on the order of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the report said. state corporation, adding that the device was developed and manufactured at enterprises that are part of Roscosmos.
As specified in the state corporation, the rocket will also launch a passing load – 16 small spacecraft, which were created by leading universities, commercial companies and non-profit organizations.
