Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that he does not consider the entry of Sweden and Finland into NATO an existential threat to Russia.

I just can’t understand by what criterion “NATO’s advance to the East” is assessed as a “threat to the security of the Russian Federation” even within the framework of the new reality in the Russian power corridors.

The fact is that Ukraine, which did not have a chance to join NATO in the medium term, supposedly posed such a danger.

But Sweden and Finland, which had never wanted to join NATO before, but after the military aggression declared such a desire, do not infringe on anything.

As a result, Russia surrounded itself even more strongly with NATO…
