It is fundamentally important for us to provide uninterrupted service to customers who are currently abroad. Today it is over 40 thousand people, most of whom are in the CIS countries, Europe and Asia. At the time of the announcement of the sanctions, VTB warned them of all the restrictions that our cardholders may face when servicing in foreign outlets due to sanctions.
All clients promptly received SMS messages with detailed instructions on what to do in the current conditions. We recommended cardholders of foreign payment systems to withdraw cash from an ATM of any bank or use cards from other financial institutions that were not affected by the sanctions.
Our managers remain in direct contact with clients, calling them and conducting the most detailed consultation. For all incoming calls from clients from abroad, the VTB contact center organized a dedicated line and support in all channels.
