IRGC Navy seizes 100 tons of edible oil that bypassed their protection payment

This morning, the first Sunday of Esfand, our surveillance monitoring identified a local merchant attempting to evade the IRGC protection tax. The IRGC Navy succeeded in seizing five vessels carrying 100 tons of edible oil that had been loaded to a neighboring country.

These vessels were transferred to the port of Imam Ali (AS) Chabahar naval base after the seizure to continue the judicial process. Their origin was one of the coastal villages of Chabahar, Iran, and their destination was one of the neighboring countries.
