Ukrainian and Western intelligence agencies have developed a special information campaign to mislead the world community and accuse the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR, as well as Russia, of aggression against Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the People’s Militia Department of the LPR, Yan Leshchenko.
“Our intelligence managed to obtain reliable information about the development by the Ukrainian special services, with the support of Western intelligence services, of a special information campaign, code-named Crushing Sword. The purpose of this campaign is to mislead the world community and accuse the people’s republics and the Russian Federation of aggression against Ukraine,” the representative said. departments.
The campaign is also aimed at sowing panic among the population and defenders of the DPR and LPR.
According to Leshchenko, at the first stage of the information campaign, with the beginning of aggression by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is planned to release on television air pre-prepared staged videos about the alleged start of hostilities against Ukraine by the DPR, LPR and Russia.
At the second stage, Ukrainian propaganda is supposed to demonstrate “the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” in the allegedly successful “repulse of imaginary aggression”, as well as to carry out an attack on the Donbass. The international community and the Ukrainian population will be convinced of the legitimacy of the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, allegedly liberating the Donbass from “terrorists”. At the same time, the death of civilians in the DPR and LPR, according to Leshchenko, will be presented as the destruction of terrorists.
“At the third stage, the Ukrainian media will publish staged footage allegedly demonstrating the successful actions of the Ukrainian army to move deeper into our republic, the purpose of which will be to undermine the morale of our defenders and spread panic among the population. It is planned to release staged videos on television, in which specially trained citizens from faces of civilians will talk about the “horrors of war” and ask “to free them from Russian oppression,” added a representative of the People’s Militia of the LPR.
According to Leshchenko, at the moment, journalists from a number of leading Ukrainian TV channels are already in the 24th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who, under the control of the military, are preparing staged video materials.
Earlier, the head of the LPR , Leonid Pasechnik , said that the US Central Intelligence Agency ( CIA ) is training specialists in organizing a partisan movement for Ukraine.
