The mandate of the Southern African Development Community Military Mission (SAMIM) in the northern Mozambican province of Cabo Delgado has been extended for a further three months, in a bid to ensure a consolidation of security in the territories freed from ISIS terrorists and the start of reconstruction.
AKM(S)/Type 56(-1/-2) rifles, Type 3 AK-47 rifles, Bulgarian RPG-7(V) Launchers, (HEI-AP boundings, Type 69-3/DZP1C-40 & PG-7V/Type 69-1 rockets), G3A3 rifles, PK/Type 80 MGs and possible PPS-43 pattern SMGs can be seen.
