Iranian minister of intelligence hints at possibility of nuclear weapons

Iranian intelligence minister Mahmoud Alavi:

“The Supreme Leader has declared that the production of nuclear weapons is against the Shari’ah (Islamic law).

‎But if you drive a cat in a corner, it may do something unexpected.

If they push Iran in that direction, it is not Iran’s fault.

In normal conditions, Iran has no nuclear ambitions.”

Iranian diplomats, other than the foreign & deputy foreign minister, do not often travel to other countries.

Parliament speaker Ghalibaf is in Russia and Chief Justice Raeesi is in Iraq.
