The Kazan nuclear submarine is an upgraded version of the 885m Yasen-M submarine.
The nuclear submarine will be delivered to the Russian Navy before the end of 2020 after passing the required tests.
The 885m nuclear submarine upgrade project (Yasen-M) was launched on July 24, 2009. The submarine is capable of carrying cruise missiles and Kalibr-PL missiles.
