Beliefs of the Great Iranian Nationalist Party — in brief
• Nationalism:
In this view, nationalism means love, responsibility, and loyalty to Iran; preserving independence, territorial integrity, and prioritizing national interests are considered its main principles. This ideology sees all Iranian ethnic groups as part of a single nation and opposes racism, separatism, and extremism.
• Justice and Rightfulness:
Justice is defined as equality of all people before the law, combating corruption, oppression, and discrimination. Truthfulness, defending human rights, and standing on the side of justice are regarded as fundamental pillars of a healthy and ethical society.
• Iran and History:
Iran’s history is part of the national identity and a factor that connects generations. This view holds that one should be aware of Iran’s historical glories as well as recognize and accept past mistakes to prevent their repetition.
• Citizenship and Rights:
In this ideology, people are “citizens” not “subjects” and have the right to participate in the country’s destiny. Freedom of expression, the right to education, respect for human rights, social responsibility, and respect for the law are important principles in this area.
• Social-Democratic Economy:
The economy should be a combination of free market and social justice; in a way that both economic growth and healthy competition exist, and the government supports the weaker classes. The goal is to reduce class gaps, create public welfare, and maintain the dynamism of the national economy.
• Independence and Critique of Globalism and Imperialism:
This view opposes foreign dependency and domination and emphasizes preserving Iran’s political, economic, and cultural independence. Interaction with the world is accepted, but without sacrificing national interests and sovereignty.
• Anti-Treason and National Boundaries:
Patriotism is defined as practical defense of Iran’s interests, security, unity, and dignity. Any action that prioritizes foreign interests over the nation’s or weakens the country is considered a blow to national interests.
• National Unity:
National unity is considered the main condition for the country’s progress and power. This ideology emphasizes respect for ethnic, cultural, and intellectual differences, healthy dialogue, and cooperation of all people to build a better future.
• Defense-Oriented Militarism:
The military forces are recognized as guardians of the country’s security, independence, and territorial integrity. This view emphasizes strengthening defensive capabilities, supporting the rights of military personnel, and creating deterrence to maintain peace and security, not warmongering.

• ناسیونالیسم:
ناسیونالیسم در این دیدگاه به معنای عشق، مسئولیتپذیری و وفاداری نسبت به ایران است؛ حفظ استقلال، تمامیت ارضی و اولویت دادن به منافع ملی از اصول اصلی آن بهشمار میرود. این تفکر همه اقوام ایرانی را بخشی از یک ملت واحد میداند و با نژادپرستی، تجزیهطلبی و افراطگرایی مخالف است.
• عدالت و حقطلبی:
عدالت به معنای برابری همه مردم در برابر قانون، مقابله با فساد، ظلم و تبعیض تعریف میشود. حقیقتگویی، دفاع از حقوق انسانها و ایستادن در سمت حق، از پایههای اصلی یک جامعه سالم و اخلاقمحور دانسته میشود.
• ایران و تاریخ:
تاریخ ایران بخشی از هویت ملی و عامل پیوند نسلهاست. این دیدگاه معتقد است که باید هم به افتخارات تاریخی ایران آگاه بود و هم اشتباهات گذشته را شناخت و پذیرفت تا از تکرار آنها جلوگیری شود.
• شهروندی و حقوق:
در این تفکر، مردم «شهروند» هستند نه «رعیت» و حق مشارکت در سرنوشت کشور را دارند. آزادی بیان، حق آموزش، رعایت حقوق بشر، مسئولیتپذیری اجتماعی و احترام به قانون از اصول مهم این بخش است.
• اقتصاد سوسیالدموکرات:
اقتصاد باید ترکیبی از بازار آزاد و عدالت اجتماعی باشد؛ بهگونهای که هم رشد اقتصادی و رقابت سالم وجود داشته باشد و هم دولت از اقشار ضعیف حمایت کند. هدف، کاهش فاصله طبقاتی، ایجاد رفاه عمومی و حفظ پویایی اقتصاد ملی است.
• استقلالگرایی و نقد گلوبالیسم و امپریالیسم:
این دیدگاه با وابستگی و سلطه خارجی مخالف است و بر حفظ استقلال سیاسی، اقتصادی و فرهنگی ایران تأکید دارد. تعامل با جهان پذیرفته میشود، اما بدون قربانی کردن منافع و حاکمیت ملی.
• ضد وطنفروشی و مرزبندی ملی:
وطندوستی به معنای دفاع عملی از منافع، امنیت، وحدت و عزت ایران تعریف میشود. هر اقدامی که منافع خارجی را بر منافع ملت ترجیح دهد یا موجب تضعیف کشور شود، ضربه به منافع ملی تلقی میگردد.
• وحدت ملی:
وحدت ملی شرط اصلی پیشرفت و قدرت کشور دانسته میشود. این تفکر بر احترام به تفاوتهای قومی، فرهنگی و فکری، گفتوگوی سالم و همکاری همه مردم برای ساختن آیندهای بهتر تأکید دارد.
• میلیتاریسم دفاعمحور:
نیروهای نظامی بهعنوان حافظان امنیت، استقلال و تمامیت ارضی کشور شناخته میشوند. این دیدگاه بر تقویت توان دفاعی، حمایت از حقوق نظامیان و ایجاد بازدارندگی برای حفظ صلح و امنیت تأکید دارد، نه جنگطلبی.
