CALL FOR PAPERS
We are preparing our independent paper magazine from the DC8044 community about the digital underground, cyber chaos, and everything that exists outside the mainstream.
No sponsors. No censorship. Just texts, stories, research, and visual cues that burn out patterns from within.
易 We are looking for authors, researchers, paranoid people, hacktivists, writers, designers, artists.
We are interested in what cannot be published in conventional media.
What we accept:
— technical articles (about hacking, telecom, exploits, penetration stories, etc.);
— digital memoirs: real cases, bugs, failures, BBS nostalgia, social engineering;
— analytics: control, privacy, cybersecurity, AI perversion;
— manifestos and critical essays : about the future of the network, algorithms, and our lives;
— digital fiction: fan fiction, short stories, pseudoscientific investigations, countercultural stuff;
— visual material: glitches, collages, photos (own authorship), ASCII art, illustrations;
— your texts without format: absurd, aesthetic, perverted — only if they are real and need their reader.
Topics that drive us:
– hacking and phreaking: from 2600-style to modern sociotechnics
– darknet, privacy, anonymity
– telecom, retro-BBS and other soulful things, alarm system
– glitch aesthetics, visual noise, the beauty of failure
– cyberanarchism, AI as an infection, ethics in code
– real stories of hacks, interviews with you
– neurofiction, text viruses, cyberpsychosis, entertaining fan stuff
– FUN OVERLOAD , more fun, you can do it!
– cicada-style puzzles, quests
Formats:
texts: .txt, .doc, .pdf
image: .png, .jpg, .tiff, .svg
You can also use scans, ASCII, and other crazy formats — the main thing is that it’s yours.

The material is triaged by the editorial team and carefully proofread as needed. Accompany your materials with author comments and explanations for the editorial team so that we immediately understand what you are talking about.
Attention: if you do not indicate your authorship and your material is selected for publication, it will be published without indicating authorship!
Deadline for submission of materials — until 01.06.2025
The magazine will be published in print.
