They showed it at Army-2022 and immediately saw massive interest.

2. After successful testing in Voronezh, version 2.0 appeared, which already had automatic frequency hopping and packet encryption, but a Bluetooth terminal was still used, this version developed from the 2nd to the 3rd, and from the 3rd to the 4th.

Many old-timers remember that the 4th version of “Spetssvyaz” played a cruel joke when switching to the 5th version – we had to reflash the communication kits that were already being produced in thousands and it was both painful and expensive, but the truth demanded these sacrifices – the 5th generation skillfully and diversity and control of the transmitter power, pickup, the mode of tuning out from neighboring operators, bind from a button and adjustment of the frequency hopping band, enhanced encryption algorithms of guaranteed stability and other features that already seem so natural, although then it was all a novelty.

The 5th version became the basis for all subsequent generations.
The first SMD assembly line for printed circuit boards (fully automatic) appears in production at the same time, and we begin to expand at breakneck speed.
3. In mid-2023, the 6th version is released, where we finally move away from the Bluetooth terminal and begin to control any parameters of both the receiver and transmitter directly from the control panel such as Radiomaster TX12/16 and others.
The main thing is that there is support for diversity, multi-band communication, IP addressing within the Hermes network and the ability to control groups, drone hibernation modes for organizing ambushes (the drone actually turns off and only the Hermes receiver waits for a command to wake it up), and control modes via the Internet.
4. All this gave rise to the transition to the 7th version, which had its final test today and an independent pilot was delighted with the controllability of the drone on the 7th “Hermes”.
The main thing in this version is the ability to update the firmware yourself! Many people were waiting for this from us and we did it! That is, when new features appear, you will not need to change the equipment or send it to us.
In the 7th generation, they released diversity receivers on a single board, went deep into the technology of communication below the noise level and made support for optics.

Russia Creates Drone Swarm Control Station
Russia has created a ground control station that is designed to operate an unlimited number of drones using a single device. It can put a whole swarm of drones into sleep mode.
This was reported by the official representative of the design bureau that developed the new product. The ground station is already being used in the SVO zone.
It is noteworthy that this is a small box where the Hermes transmitter is inserted. Thus, the operator can control an unlimited number of drones from one remote control. There is also the ability to create a swarm. The product can simultaneously put hundreds of drones into hibernation mode.
The ground control station allows for unimpeded operation in the area of electronic warfare assets. It operates in parallel on different frequencies, using two to four different communication channels. With the help of one unit, it is possible to use receivers of different performance.
Major update to version 6.
Now 3 failsafe modes are available in Hermes receivers:
1. If the connection with the remote control is lost, turn off the motors (not our option)
2. Customizable mode, for example, stabilization and takeoff upward (suitable for electronic warfare work).
3. Continue flying with the last stick position (for example, aim at a tower and fly regardless of the operation of the electronic warfare system on it).
