Despite the propaganda of the Islamic Republic to show its “authority” in the region during the drone and missile attack on Israel, this action had a reflection mixed with humor and ridicule in the Arab world.
Among others, Alaa Mubarak, the son of Hosni Mubarak, the late president of Egypt, mentioned these attacks as a “disgraceful show” on the platform “X” (former Twitter).
In this platform, Iran’s missiles were also compared to giant cucumbers.

Images of these “missiles” can be seen in these messages, one of which is mounted on Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, and some of them are fired from a military vehicle.
Some users posted photos of hands throwing paper airplanes and called Iran’s attack a “weak comedy show.” The Arab Independent has drawn a cartoon of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sitting calmly while Khamenei is throwing missiles at him, none of which hit the target.
In the first hours of last Sunday, the Islamic Republic directly attacked Israel on its territory for the first time in its history.
The Israeli army announced the firing of about 300 missiles and drones. This attack caused few casualties and damages and almost all Iranian drones and missiles were destroyed.
This attack was carried out in response to the killing of a group of Quds Force commanders in an airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
