According to law enforcement agencies, in 2023 the number of attempts by the special services of unfriendly states to involve Russian citizens in sabotage, terrorist and extremist activities has significantly increased.
Recruitment is not a spontaneous action, but a well-planned operation, the victim of which can be anyone!
The process of recruiting citizens in most cases is carried out using the Internet, social networks and instant messengers. Representatives of special services often use information obtained from open sources about the presence of relatives living outside the Russian Federation, real estate and other property
interests of a person abroad. The most common recruitment methods are: Blackmail (intimidation in exchange for cooperation).
Offer of earnings or other help.
In order to prevent the risk of recruitment, we recommend:
Limit information on social networks about personal data, addresses of places of residence, belonging to the Company and other personal data (photos, state numbers of transport, subscriber phone numbers, etc.) of one’s own and immediate environment.
Do not reply to messages of incomprehensible content from an unknown number. Verify information received from an unknown source.
Pay attention to sudden changes in the psychological state, vocabulary of family members and work colleagues (unreasonable isolation, confusion, indifference), covert telephone conversations, systematic leaving work “for family reasons”, etc.
Inform law enforcement agencies and PEB employees about any signs of deviant behavior of persons (including adherence to the views of banned and destructive organizations) from your environment in order to take preventive measures
Remember that the state and the Company have established measures to support people who find themselves in a difficult life situation.
