For its protection in the border area with Poland, on July 29, 2 helicopters of the Belarusian Air Force were deployed from Machulishchi, and the third flew to the border area the next day.
This morning, a large amount of information that we have verified has been circulating in the media, and we present below only the facts that we have verified.

The first reports that two helicopters of the Belarusian Air Force crossed the border with Poland began to arrive at ~10:30 Minsk time.
At this time, the Mi-8 and Mi-24 were just patrolling the border. According to reports in social networks and the media, two helicopters were seen over the Polish village of Bialowieza, which is located 2 km from the border.
Laterappeareda photo showing that these are exactly the helicopters that participated in patrolling the border with Poland. On the Mi-24 of the Belarusian Air Force, tail number 14 can be seen . We were able to test one ofphotoand confirm that it was made in one in the village of Belovezha, 2.3 km from the border. Sameconfirmand users on Twitter.
We also note that a video of a Mi-2 helicopter is being circulated in the media, which is not related to the Belarusian Air Force, it is probably a Polish helicopter.
Were there any exercises in the border area with Poland that are written about in the media?

No, there were no exercises in that area. And helicopters have nothing to do with any exercises, but flew to protect Lukashenka.
Why could helicopters fly into Poland?
We believe that the pilots of the Belarusian Air Force helicopters could well have flown into Poland, but everything indicates that this was done by accident.
A targeted provocation with two combat helicopters crossing the border would be an extremely dangerous step, given that Lukashenka is only + – 10 km away, and has been sleeping 7.5 km from the border for several days, including right now
