Advertising on social networks without an ID will be punished with fines
On June 24, 2023, Putin signed a law according to which the distribution of advertising without an identifier on the Web will be punished with administrative fines:
from 30 to 100 thousand rubles. – for citizens;
from 200 to 500 thousand rubles. – for legal entities;
from 100 to 200 thousand rubles. – for officials;
Penalties are also provided for failure to provide information about advertising to the federal executive body: for citizens – from 10 to 30 thousand rubles, for legal entities – from 200 to 500 thousand rubles, for officials – from 30 to 100 thousand rubles.
The changes will come into effect on September 1, 2023.
