Today in Iran, in the presence of President Raisi and the command of the IRGC, a new solid-propellant rocket of the Aerospace Forces of the IRGC with a hypersonic warhead, called Fattah, was presented.

There is still little information, a range of up to 1400 km is declared, and that when approaching the target, it has a speed in the region of Mach 13-15.
Judging by the published footage, the rocket is equipped with a maneuvering warhead with a small engine with a controlled thrust vector for maneuvering out of the atmosphere and aerodynamic rudders for precise guidance and flight correction at the finish line.
It is worth emphasizing that this is certainly not a hypersonic glide unit, but for missile defense systems, such a warhead also represents an extremely difficult target since it still flies and maneuvers at hypersonic speed.
Tehran – IRNA – Fattah hypersonic missile was unveiled on Tuesday – June 16 – in the presence of the president and a group of IRGC commanders.
According to IRNA’s defense reporter, the “Fattah” hypersonic ballistic missile, which was produced by IRGC Aerospace Force specialists, was unveiled on Tuesday in a ceremony attended by Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, IRGC Commander-in-Chief, and IRGC Aerospace Commander, Maj. Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh.
This missile with tactical capabilities, due to having a second-stage movable nozzle solid fuel propellant, has the ability to reach very high speeds and also perform various maneuvers inside and outside the earth’s atmosphere in order to overcome all types of enemy air defense systems.
The range of Fattah missile is 1400 km and its speed before hitting the target is Mach 13 to 15 (15 thousand km/h).
The ability to pass through all missile shield systems and the ability to hide and pass through radar systems are other features of this ballistic missile.
According to IRNA , hypersonic missiles are among the newest weapons and equipment that countries such as America, Russia, China and North Korea have achieved the technology of making. A few days ago, the IRGC Aerospace Force commander announced to the students of the University of Science and Technology about the unveiling of Iran’s hypersonic ballistic missile in the near future.
Sardar Hajizadeh pointed out that this new missile passes through all missile shield systems and stated: This missile targets the enemy’s anti-missile systems and is a big generational leap in the missile fiel
