An 18-year-old boy was detained in Irkutsk on suspicion of setting fire to a military enlistment office in September. It is reported that he created a “cryptocurrency fund”, on whose accounts he was able to collect as much as 8,000 rubles, and with this money, he bought what was necessary for an act of resistance. The young man was detained on December 21, although he seems to have committed the arson he is accused of in September.
Two more criminal cases were opened against an activist detained in the Irkutsk region in November: “preparation” and “organization of a terrorist attack.” Earlier, we wrote that he is charged with an article for “public calls for extremist activities.” But for stricter articles, apparently, there is more bonus before the New Year.
In Belarus, the FSB detained an anti-war activist from St. Petersburg. In September, searches were carried out at his house in the case of “telephone terrorism”, until the new arrest he was held as a suspect in the case, now he is accused of treason. His wife comments that the persecution may be related to the administration of the Telegram channel (does not specify which one). Just in case, we remind you that hiding from persecution for opposition activities in “allied” Belarus is a disastrous thing.
In Yakutia, a schoolboy was arrested for “calling for terrorism.” A 11th grade student was sent to jail. At the same time, Putin declares that the youth will determine the future of Russia. But you are sending these young people to prison…
Journalists calculated that in 2022 there was a record number of detentions of dissenters. Since the beginning of the war of conquest, 19,443 free people have ended up in paddy wagons. And it is possible that this figure will grow even before the end of December. That is why we always remind: everyone who goes into business, even the smallest and most insignificant, should always think about their own safety first.
Freedom for the brave!
