Dmitry Medvedev’s office announced that his page on VKontakte had been hacked
“The last post on VKontakte, published by Dmitry Anatolyevich, was dedicated to the congratulations of military sailors on the Day of the Navy. And those who hacked the page, wrote and published a remote post, will be dealt with by the VK administration and those who are supposed to,” the deputy chairman’s assistant told reporters Security Council Oleg Osipov.
Late in the evening of August 1, a lengthy post appeared on Medvedev’s VKontakte page on Russia’s actions in the post-Soviet space. Then it was removed.
