Vice Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk:
This morning they tried to break through humanitarian corridors from three settlements in the Kherson region. The occupiers did not cease fire, so the corridors did not open.
Also today, the occupiers did something that indicates chaos and disorder in their so-called “armed forces”. Despite instructions from his superiors, a “field commander” took hostage Volodymyr Marchuk, the head of the Novovorontsov OTG, to exchange him for Russian prisoners of war.
This was a mistake for which not only the mentioned person will be responsible, but also those who allow the capture of our civilians in exchange for Russian prisoners of war. Maybe that animal doesn’t understand that capturing a civilian and demanding an exchange for the military doesn’t work that way. But its leaders must understand this and realize that they will not be able to hide behind such things, even in Russia.
