In Bucha, 163 local residents were identified, who were killed by Russian invaders. To date, about 320 bodies of killed Buchan residents have been collected around the city, the mayor of the city Fedoruk said.
“To date, we have been able to identify 163 dead. These are citizens of our city who were cynically killed, brutally tortured by Russians. We know their last names, first names, patronymics, where they lived, who they were – or father, or son, or wife , in one family or another,” Fedoruk said.
According to him, by now, about 320 bodies of Buchan residents killed by Russian invaders have been collected around the city. “We found two more bodies in the village of Lubyanka, shot. And six bodies in the village of Zdvizhevka, Buchansk community. And every day we find more and more bodies of the dead, in different parts of our city – in vegetable gardens, in park areas, on the territories of playgrounds.
Russian troops captured Bucha almost immediately after the start of the war and occupied for a month. All this time, almost 4,000 residents remained in Bucha, including the mayor, Anatoly Fedoruk.
After the liberation of Bucha, numerous photos and videos began to appear in the Kiev region, demonstrating the atrocities of the Russian invaders. In particular, the footage shows the bodies of dead civilians lying on the streets of Bucha. Some have their hands tied and gunshot wounds to the head.
The Russian Ministry of Defense denied any involvement in the brutal killings and torture of the inhabitants of Bucha. They say that the bodies were recently thrown into the streets – after all Russian units completely left Bucha, around March 30th.

According to the file metadata, these videos were filmed over several days, from March 23 to 30, 2022 (read more below). The recordings that we are publishing are another very important piece of evidence showing that people in Bucha were definitely killed even before the Russian troops retreated from the city.
