Diffbot created a software instance that tracks companies that apply sanctions. To check whether a source is trustworthy or not, Diffbot assigns a score to each domain and combines information from different resources.
There have been many attempts to create such a system. But take, for example, the lists compiled by the media – there are a lot of mistakes. And various projects like opensanctions.org clearly cannot cope with the frantic flow of messages.
