Demonstration of Meraj 504 IRGC suicide drone
The IRGC ground force has exposed one of its suicide drones to the public in an exhibition in Imam Hossein (AS) Square in Tehran.
The Ascension 504, which is actually the result of modifications and upgrades to the Ascension 214 drone, can carry a 2.5-kilogram explosive payload up to a range of 100 kilometers and uses a piston engine as the driving force.
Developed by the Nezsa Self-Sufficiency Research and Jihad Organization, the new drone is capable of carrying a 2.5-kilogram explosive payload up to a range of 100 kilometers and uses a piston engine as the driving force.
Meraj 504 is actually the result of changes and updates on the Meraj 214 UAV, which is used as a target UAV for defense systems. This has significantly reduced the cost of designing and building this drone. This drone is currently in the ground forces of the operational corps.
