Information began to be published on the network shortly after the announcement by MasterCard and Visa about the termination of services for Russian customers abroad. A significant part of payment data is laid out by attackers free of charge. Experts do not exclude that the owners of leaked data may face both unauthorized debits and phishing.
Due to the fact that Russian MasterCard and Visa cards will soon stop working abroad, experts do not see a big problem in the discussed leak. However, Vurasko from Infosecurity does not rule out that attackers will try to use the information received for unauthorized debiting of funds.
