Russian Federation warnings of what not to believe causes Russian citizens to critically think about filtered Russian News войнасфейками

Aleksey Preobrazhensky, Deputy Head of Administration of the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region, Head of the State Legal Department, recalled responsibility for the dissemination of false information.

“Each of us is closely following the news these days, trying to learn as much as possible about what is happening in Ukraine and the border areas,” he wrote on his Instagram page.  – Unfortunately, this huge flow of information is generously flavored with fakes – fake, staged photos and videos fly around at the speed of sound.

The other day, Roskomnadzor turned to the Russian media with a warning about a large number of unreliable publications with information about the ongoing special military operation.  All reliable and up-to-date information is published and distributed by official Russian sources.

Let me remind everyone who has a desire to share unverified data that the dissemination of knowingly false information entails liability under Article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation in the form of an administrative fine of up to 5 million rubles.

The dissemination of false information on the Internet will result in the immediate blocking of such materials by Roskomnadzor in accordance with Art.  15.3 of Federal Law No. 149-FZ “On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection”.

Remember that there is an aggressive information war going on right now to sow panic among Russians. Read only trusted official sources.  Ignore the rumors and don’t panic.”

THE REALITY WILL HIT HOME IF RUSSIA ALLOWS COFFINS AT HOME

Earlier, we wrote about a specially created website warfake.rf.  Its authors have already exposed dozens of false reports about events in Ukraine and in the border regions of Russia.  Photos and videos actively posted on social networks are analyzed.  The fact that a full-fledged machine for the production of fake information is operating in Ukraine is confirmed even by foreign media.  For example, the BBC has already released two investigations into fakes about the special operation – most of the false information is spread by Ukrainian and pro-Ukrainian channels and publics.
