In total, the deployment of 9 ground groupings of Russian troops around Ukraine was noted.

Near the borders with Ukraine, at least 56 battalion tactical groups are currently deployed in the immediate vicinity. The largest grouping in the Valuyki-Voronezh region from the 1st Tank Army, the 20th Combined Arms Army, consisting of 13-14 battalion tactical groups, threatens the Lugansk region of Ukraine.
Up to 4 armored personnel carriers are concentrated in the direction of Kharkov. In the direction of Chernihiv, up to 3 armored personnel carriers, the Russian group in the direction of Kiev – up to 9 armored personnel carriers.

Operational reserves are deployed at a distance of up to 300-400 km from the borders with Ukraine – at least 13 more armored personnel carriers.

In total, at least 69 active armored personnel carriers have been identified, plus up to 15-20 armored personnel carriers from the Western and Southern military districts can be additionally deployed for reinforcement within 7-10 days.
