Abu Dhabi Police: 3 oil tankers exploded in the Mussafah area of Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi Police confirmed the outbreak of a fire this morning, which led to an explosion in 3 petroleum tanks transporting petroleum in the Musaffah ICAD 3 area near ADNOC’s tanks. A minor fire also occurred in the new construction area at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Preliminary investigations indicate that small flying objects, possibly belonging to drones, were detected in the two areas, which may have caused the explosion and fire. The competent authorities were sent and the fire is being dealt with. The competent authorities have launched an extensive investigation into the cause of the fire and the circumstances surrounding it, and there are no significant damages resulting from the two accidents.
