The Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Valery Gerasimov, announced that Ukrainian provocations in Donbass would be suppressed. He stated this at a briefing in front of the military attachés of foreign states. Gerasimov stressed that the supply of weapons to Ukraine leads to an escalation of the situation.
The Chief of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces separately noted that the Ukrainian military is actively using the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 drones, and also announces the start of the use of American Javelin anti-tank missile systems in Donbas.
These ATGMs were transferred by the American partners of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as part of the program of assistance in strengthening the country’s defenses.
