Somalia – Bosaso – Amaq Agency: A number of soldiers of the “Puntland” government’s special forces were killed and wounded in a daring operation near Bosaso, northeastern Somalia.
Military sources told “Amaq” agency that two Islamic State fighters were ambushed this afternoon in the path of a convoy of the Special Forces of the “Puntland” government while it was advancing near the village of “Humri”, southeast of the city of “Bosaso”, where they succeeded in detonating an explosive device on the vehicles of the convoy.
The sources added that after the soldiers got out of their vehicles after the first explosion, the two fighters detonated a second device on the foot force, then clashed with them with machine guns.
